Barry is composing music for modern trumpet ensemble that will be performed sometime in 2009. Talks are underway with FONT (Festival of New Trumpet Music) to have the music premiered at their 2009 festival.

2007:

Barry has been on tour with Barbra Streisand for the past year, and has just completed a tour of Europe with her orchestra.

2006:

Barry is currently playing lead trumpet in the hit Broadway Musical "The Color Purple"

Barry just finished playing on Tony Bennett's upcoming "Duets' record, which featured Elton John, Bono, The Dixie Chicks and Elvis Costello.

Once again, Barry played for the Rainforest Foundation's fundraiser at Carnegie Hall. The All Star Band, under the direction of Narada Michael Walden played the music of Woodstock- "Music of Social Change", and we backed up Sting, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Lenny Kravitz, and Cheryl Crow. Over 2 million dollars was raised for this great cause. Thanks to Trudie and Sting for making it happen.

Barry recently performed at Radio City Music Hall as part of the orchestra backing Jay-Z in the recreation of his seminal "Reasonable Doubt" CD. The Roots provided a relentless groove. Gracing the stage that night was Beyonce, Foxy Brown, and thanks to technology, some previously unheard Biggie Smalls.

Barry is currently working on his next CD, which will hopefully be out in 2007.
